Next week our friends from Outcome, Islington’s LGBT+ mental health service, will be holding their annual Open Day on Tuesday 25th October 2016 from 11am to 3:30pm. The open day will be held at the Mind Spa on 35 Ashley Road, N19 3AG.
There will be a range of activities and therapies to try out at the open day from creative writing, films workshops to theatre workshops and more! Our very own team from MSH Wellbeing will also be there to offer some taster therapies for everyone.
It is also a great opportunity to find out more about Outcome. For those of you who are not familiar with Outcome and their work, they currently offer therapies like;
- One-to-one and group art therapy
- Head massages
Outcome also offer and run activities like;
- Music tuition
- Card making
- A walking group
- A film group
- Computer training
- Board games
There will be information about all the therapies and activities that are run by Outcome on a weekly basis as well as information about their specialist services that they provide.
On the day, Outcome will also be providing information about the new projects that they will be working on for example;
- Freedom from Fear, specialist support for LGBT+ asylum seekers and refugees
- Follow the Rainbow – specialist employment support for LGBT+ individuals
- ASD – Rainbow – support for LGBT+ people with autism disorder
