Justin has over 20 years worth of experience working in healthcare, mostly in pioneering clinical roles within the NHS. He was responsible for developing initiative services within the sexual health department of St Mary’s Hospital, London, including the Working Men Project, and the Sexual Health Information & Protection (SHIP) team. Also an experienced trade union representative, who from 2004 – 2007 managed the introduction of Agenda for Change (the new pay and terms & conditions within the NHS) at St Mary’s, having the Department of Health and NHS London cite St Mary’s as an example of best practice. Prior to leaving the NHS at the end of 2007, he was Associate Director for Organisational Change, leading on staff engagement and various HR work-streams (such as policy integration) in preparation for the creation of the UK’s first Academic Health Science Centre – Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust.
More recently he has focused on development of MSH Health & Wellbeing CIC, and MSH @ Home.

Helen trained as a registered nurse at Westminster Hospital, London, in the late ’70s and has over 25 yearrs’ NHS experience in emergency nursing, as a Sister on the Community in Fulham and within contraception (Family Planning) and sexual health.
From 1991, Helen was the UK’s first Outreach Clinical Nurse Specialist in Contraception and Sexual Health, and for 18 years worked in Lambeth (multi-ethnic, deprived inner city South London) followed by a few years within East London’s equally deprived inner-city community of Tower Hamlets.
Helen is a contraception and sexual health trainer; RCN assessor and media nurse specialist contributor (over 200 TV/radio); have TWO INNOVATION AWARDS for Outreach and Cyber Clinic development; four books published under the imprint Sexplained Books by Knox Publishing; and writes a monthly column in Better Health Magazine, Barbados.
Management Advisory Group (MAG)
Emily Freeman (MAG Member – Safeguarding Lead)
Emily is a qualified social worker with a specialist interest in Safeguarding. Based in Derby, where she is Safeguarding Adults Team Manager at Derby City Council. As a Non-Executive member of our Management Advisory Group (MAG), Emily is the organisations’ lead for Safeguarding.
Dr Imran Ghafoor (MAG Member – Medical Advisor)
Dr Ghafoor is a qualified General Practitioner (GP), and Partner within a Manchester based inner-City practice. He has a specialist interest in sexual health, and advises on development of clinical policies, procedures and Patient Group Directions (PGDs) within MHW-CIC.
Rachel Farrow (MAG Member – Chair of the MAG)
Rachel lives in Norfolk, where she retired after a successful teaching carer, where she specialised on Business Studies and Physical Education. Post retirement Rachel undertook a Masters in Organisational Development, and still an active sports woman, she activity coaches sporting activities for those with disabilities, long-term conditions or older persons. As a Non-Executive member of our Management Advisory Group (MAG) she has a focus on organisational development and human resources, as well as holistic health and wellbeing initiatives within our emerging Home Care division.
